Dune Grass! Pet-friendly family home in Long Beach!

Enjoy the comfort and convenience of Long Beach! Dune Grass is a non-smoking, furnished townhouse with single garage near the Bolstad beach approach -- an easy walk to beach activities or downtown. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are all close by, plus lots of things for the kids to do. There’s miniature golf right across the street, and the arcade and rides are just a couple blocks away. The Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve.

Dune Grass has one bedroom downstairs, with a queen bed, TV and ensuite ¾ bath and a private patio. The garage and laundry are also on the ground floor. Upstairs there’s the living room (with an ocean view!), along with the kitchen, second bathroom and bedroom. For evenings or rainy days there’s cable TV with DVD, stereo and wireless internet. The overall décor of this home is casual and beachy. The kitchen is nice, bright and fully-equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. There’s a full-size range and fridge and a dishwasher, as well as a breakfast bar that seats 4 too. The bathroom upstairs is a full bath, with tub shower. In the upstairs bedroom is a queen bed plus flat screen TV. There'a a full-size hide-a-bed in the living room, so Dune Grass sleeps up to six (6) people total. Please note: there are 2 parking spaces available at Dune Grass (one in the garage and one in front of the garage) -- any additional vehicles may be parked on the street. One housetrained pet under 30 lbs. is welcome too -- but do not leave your pet unattended in the home.

There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay.

There is a 2-night minimum year-round; most major holidays and festivals are 3-nights minimum (New Year’s, Memorial Day, July 4th, Rod Run and Thanksgiving); Kite Festival is a 7-night minimum. New Year's Eve weekend is $150/night with a 3 night minimum.
