Song of the Sea!

Enjoy the comfort and convenience of Long Beach! Song of the Sea is a beautifully furnished oceanfront home near the Peninsula Golf Course -- an easy walk to the beach or a short drive to downtown. This home has a quiet beachy feeling, which will work its magic on you the moment you step through the front door.

Song of the Sea has a double car garage and room for 1 other car in the garage approach, so up to 3 cars only. Once you’re inside, the main level features the kitchen, dining room, living room and a half bath. There’s a small deck off the dining room that gives you access to the beach path. The living room has a gas fireplace and a TV with cable and a VCR/DVD and a stereo. There’s even a hide-a-bed. The kitchen is bright and well-equipped – fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave and fully loaded with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. The dining room has its own view of the ocean too and seats 6 at the table and 2 at the breakfast bar.

The bedrooms are all upstairs. At the top of the stairs is a great little office/computer area with wifi available. The first bedroom has a queen bed; the second has 2 twin beds, one of which is a long twin. There’s a very nice full bath too, plus a laundry room for your use. Last but not least is the master bedroom with its own bath. The bedroom has a king bed, plus 2 comfy chairs for watching the ocean. The bath is bright and spacious, with both a shower and a wonderful soaker tub with a view of the ocean.

For your comfort, Song of the Sea is non-smoking and no pets please. The maximum occupancy is 8 people, including everyone over 2 years of age.

There’s great shopping and a variety of restaurants close by in the downtown core, plus lots of things for the kids to do – arcades, carnival rides, miniature golf and more. The Bolstad beach approach is a hub of activity year-round, but especially during the summer months, with the International Kite Festival in August and, of course, fireworks on Independence Day and New Year’s Eve. Long Beach and Seaview feature a variety of eateries from casual family restaurants to upscale bistros and cafes. You’ll want to walk the boardwalk to enjoy one of our colorful sunsets too.

There’s even more to explore on the Long Beach Peninsula – all 26 plus miles of it. The Port of Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment are only a short drive away, as well as Waikiki Beach and the North Head lighthouse. There are some great art galleries at the Port of Ilwaco, and during the summer months there’s Saturday Market too, with a variety of local arts and crafts, foods, flowers and plants for sale. You can even see pirates at times. Ilwaco also has its own fireworks in July. The Port also features some fine restaurants with local seafood offerings created by our great chefs. Or take a charter trip for salmon, halibut, tuna or sturgeon. On the north end of the Peninsula is Ocean Park, with bookstores, restaurants and gift stores. Visit Jack’s Country Store to see this historic yet current meeting place. In Nahcotta you can buy fresh oysters or pastries and enjoy the wonderful views of Willapa Bay. On the extreme north end of the Peninsula, the place to see is Ledbetter Point State Park -- it’s a wonderful place for hiking to the beach or to the bay. Make sure you stop in historic Oysterville to see the wonderful old church there.
